“The Young Space” is a new initiative that took shape within the World Association of Psychoanalysis (WAP) in 2023. It is a space for work and inquiry that enables participants who are newcomers to meet around the table for an open and facilitating dialogue on clinical, theoretical, and political questions — questions that engage each participant from their own personal, professional, and institutional position. The meetings take place once a month and address a range of topics, from questions concerning the School itself to the theme of the annual Congress, the construction of a clinical case, and more.
